Serhii Datsiv, the Associate Lawyer at Pragnum Law Firm, participated in the International Conference “KIEV ARBITRATION DAYS 2016: Think Big!”. Leading Ukrainian and foreign lawyers were the speakers at the conference. The participants of the event discussed the latest global tendencies in development of the international commercial arbitration practice.

The experts and guests were focused on such themes as application of the soft-law in international commercial arbitration, in particular, when solving the issue of conflict of interest, correct working with the client in the arbitration dispute and efficient selection of arbitrators who will consider the dispute.

Pragnum's representative discussed opportunities of turning Ukraine into a favourable arbitration jurisdiction with Anton Baier, the President of the Vienna International Arbitral Centre.

“Currently, the world is looking for approaches to reformation of international arbitration, and out country may use global best practices and become an attractive jurisdiction for settlement of international arbitral disputes,” Serhii said.
