On 25-26 February, III Judicial Debates on Tax Law in the Student League of the Ukrainian Bar Association were held. Pragnum Law Firm was a partner of the event. Oleksii Nekrasov, the Senior Associate of the firm and the advocate, acted as a judge and conducted the workshop “Tax Disputes: Theory vs. Practice”.

Oleksii shared his impressions:

“The Student League has organised a wonderful event aimed  at obtaining practical skills and abilities by the best students from specialised higher educational institutions. As the legal debate has shown, the youth have theoretical knowledge, but they still have not learnt to respond to judge's questions and counter-arguments of the opponent.

I believe that such moot courts improve quality of training of future specialists”.

There is no denying that such events not only enable young specialists to improve their knowledge in the sphere of taxation and legal debate skills under the conditions most closely approximate to the real ones; such events also allow legal companies and students decide on future employment of participants of such competitions.
