Protect the client's interests in the dispute with the State Architecture and Construction Inspectorate

Lawyers of Pragnum Law Firm appealed judicially against the order on imposing fines on the client issued by the State Architecture and Construction Inspectorate (SACI) for the amount of more than UAH 300 thousand. It was proven within the project that the SACI had illegally held the client liable for breach of the urban planning laws. In addition to that, the fact of the client's inspection that had resulted in imposition of penalties was refuted. The first instance court agreed with the arguments stated by Pragnum Law Firm and dismissed the SACI's arguments that the latter could hold any third party liable if there were suspicions of breach of the laws by such party in the course of the inspection. The court of appeal upheld the judgement of the first instance court on revocation of the order and four resolutions of the SACI on imposition of fines.
